Class 31 - 5674

The locomotive has worked flawlessly unlike the previous Accurascale locomotive which had to be sent back for a motor change after running in didn't solve the problem. This one has run in with no problems and is currently undergoing crew installation and accessory fitment. Very pleased with it and looking enviously at those who got the network rail version with the spot lights.

This is a superb model. The detail and appearance is second to none and the running is incredibly smooth and silent with sound off so with the sound on, all you hear is the faultless sound recording.
Trouble is, I ordered the wrong model. I should have been D5803.
Accurascale have agreed to exchange the model and resolve my personal mistake.

I purchased the class 31 having read reviews of the earlier releases. I thought it was reasonably priced and it arrived in good time. It was well packaged and on inspection it was obviously a great model. So far it has only had a short time on the track but meets all my expectations. I am not disappointed and would recommend it.

Loco ran perfectly straight out of the box
Sound is very good, gearing and slow running are spot on
Only criticism is the direction lights are complicated to set up .

Another brilliant loco from Accurascale. My first ever sound fitted model, and well worth the asking price. Runs perfectly smoothly straight out of the box and sounds great. This loco really takes me back to my younger, trainspotting days....

Delighted with the detail of the Loco and the smooth running of the Loco round my lay out and the bright directional lights, the only thing I was disappointed with was no engine room lights, other wise the class 31 is superb

I acquired this locomotive for my collection because it was green 💚 and had a number ending in 74 because that is when I had my first layout in 1974. The locomotive is exquisitely painted and has a suberb mechanism. It's just like the real locomotive being a A1A A1A . This machine by Accurascale is the real deal being by far the diffinitive Class 31. In other words SUBERB. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I still own my first ever loco bought more than30 yrs ago. It was from Airfix. It is a pleasure to receive this up to date version made by Accurascale. Although it is relatively lighter than the standard Auccurascale locos, it still have good traction power. It runs smoothly including the working fan and instrument and cablight. I wish Accurascale have specific instruction for bufferbeam details for each of different class 31 instead of being generic.

An excellent representation of this locomotive. One point that I found extremely difficult was replacing the screws on the lighting box after changing the head code. I am elderly and arthritic. I feel that the choice of head code as fitted is rather strange. Other than that small point I would certainly purchase another one and thoroughly recommend.

This is yet another exellent model from Accurascale . Received within two day of ordering no loose bits in the box and exellent runner straight out of the box.
