31466 - EWS - Exclusive

What a superb model EWS 31466 is, nice to have another EWS livery loco in the fleet.
Whilst 31466 was on the Severn Valley Railway, I was able to see this loco running their on a number of occasions. So nice to own this in model form.

The livery application is incredible, with a beautiful rich shade of EWS red and crisply printed lettering and numbers, through to the intricate 'three beasties' logo - I have not seen such a good application of EWS colours yet in any scale, fantastic. The model itself is a great smooth runner and brimming with additional details, thoroughly pleased with this purchase!

This is my second purchase of the Accurascale Class 31 Diesel Locomotive. The detail on this model is of a very high standard and it has a very attractive EWS livery. The model had sufficient packaging to avoid damage in transit. The delivery time from DPD was excellent. Overall, I am very impressed with my latest purchase from Accurascale.

Ordered upon the announcement and the wait was well worth it! The model is fantastic and really happy with finish. Really impressed with the amount of additional detail that can be optionally fitted too. Another great release.

Is this the best rendition of a model of a Class 31 in OO? Having a number of the later Hornby models, by comparison the Accurascale model is streets ahead with its superior paint finish, detailing, running and looks.
I am going to have to save up to try and fund a couple more of them to add to the collection.

Very good rendition of the the livery applied to this loco for the Toton Open day 1998, which I attended my main reason for attending was the the first 66 locos which were also on display the class 31 model is to very high standard, highly recommended there models and expecting the same standard when the class 89 and class 50’s arrive.

Without question one of the best detailed locos i have. Great looking model.

These 31s just get better having 3 in total. Runs well as all these locos do and stands out in EWS livery. Having seen its big sister on the NYMR so nice to have in model form.

Having already had a pair of BR 31s, picking up some private operator liveried examples to bolster the fleet has not disappointed, lovely runners, we’ll applied liveries, they really look the part!
