The Class 37 without this speaker are very quite but put these in what a difference

Brilliant speaker

Provides an excellent realistic sound experience with plenty of bass! Highly recommend. It can also be swapped with the speakers on early batches of 37s to prevent the cutting out issue which the previous 4 ohm speaker presented. Brilliant!

Poor sound quality, some vibration on start up.

I purchased the 8 ohm accurathrash speaker as advised and the ESU decoder plus speaker clips separately as I wasn't aware of their sound bundles until today. Very disappointed , the speaker is poor with reverberation and lack of treble, the decoder functions for cab lights and brake do not work, and it takes many seconds for the loco engine sound to start, and even longer for it to finally move.

Accurathrash DCC Sound Speaker - 8 Ohm

Installed speaker in Class 66 as part of upgrade to DCC Sound, very easy fit in provided space with wired connector plugged into circuit board (no soldering required !). Secured with separately purchased clips & decoder. Great sound, very pleased.
