Three wagon multi-pack

Containing three wagons, numbered:

  • B312249
  • B314156
  • B314641
  • Bauxite, TOPS livery
  • Converted from 1/119 and 1/120 diagrams at Perth between 1985 and 1987
  • Used for scrap metal traffic in Scotland and North East England
  • 192 wagons converted to MDWs
  • Air Pipes fitted for use in Speedlink trains, otherwise identical to ‘standard’ MDVs
  • MDWs remained in service until 1992
  • Four ran as ZDV/ZYVs in Departmental traffic, the last being withdrawn in 1999

Common features:

  • Pack of three wagons, each with individual numbers
  • NEM standard coupler pockets
  • Narrow tension lock couplers included
  • Extra fine factory-fitted detail plastic parts and sprung buffers
  • Individual lettering and codes from real wagons for authenticity

These 21T Mineral Wagons are superb in both detail and quality. I have a few sets in both bauxite and grey. They make an excellent addition to the various other mineral wagons in my fleet, all with different numbers.

Absolutely fantastic wagons with superb detailing, even the packaging is of a very high standard and on a par with the packaging used by Accurascale for their loco's. Now to get them along with the pack B that I purchased at the same time weathered and loaded with scrap. Well done Accurascale on another brilliant product.
